Reminder for those in the club who do salt water fishing. You need to get a State permit this year. In 2010 you only needed to Register with the US Government. The State Fee is $10 for those that are under 60 years of age.
Your can get Both your fresh water license and salt water permit on line at the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.

Click on the tab "Recreation" and on that page, on the right hand side see "quick links", click on "On Line License". The next page is a form to complete to see if the State can ID you from prior license purchase. This form could not locate me even though I have purchased my license on line before. I ended up clicking on "new customer" and proceeded from there.
If you do this on line the State hits you with a small "convenience fee". For my license & no cost salt water permit my charge was $27.50 and the convenience fee was $3.92. The no charge salt water permit convenience fee by itself was approximately $1.30 so the State gets you even when the salt water permit did not have a value assigned to it. |
