Club News

2011 fees were $25.00 per tournament, and $5.00 for Lunker

2012 fees will be $25.00 per tournament and $10.00 for Lunker Pool.   Lunker Pool is still voluntary

2012 Tournament Fees for 2012 will be Pay Per Tournament.  We will Not Prepay the 1st four tournaments in the Spring and the last four tournament in July.

Yearly dues will remain at the current level of $40 per year.  Yearly due can be mailed to Daryll via check

or can be paid to Daryll at the first tournament.  If your dues are not paid prior to the first tournament you will not be allowed to fish.  Bring a check for the yearly dues or enough cash to pay for the dues and the tournament fee at the first tournament.  All club members will pay dues and required fees prior to fishing any tournaments.

2012 TOURNAMENT RAFFLES: Beginning with the first tournament and then at every Other tournament there will be a raffle at the end of the tournament for all members who fished that day. The name drawn out of a hat will win $25.00. This is to give a little bit extra back to the club as the $25 comes out of to club's bank account and increase articipation.  There will be 5 raffles, Charles River, Nashua, Shirley Res, Webster and Singletary. Reminder,  boat fee at Shirley Reservoir is $10 per boat. Cochituate ramp fee is $5.00 per boat. In 2011 we forgot to pay this fee at the end of the tournament.  We may need to settle this during our 2012 tournament at Cochituate.  Important we pay for the tournament. Be familiar with the new 2012 MA rule/law regarding the use of lead in fishing lures and weights.  Jay has sent much information to members over the past 6 months.  We do not know how strict the MA enforcement will be so be prepared. Don't give EPO a reason to check you out!

Jay has info on where you can get Non Lead jigs if you're interested.
